After a successful career as a firefighter,
managing teams of service-minded men & women
and putting out fires, Ron Porter has returned to
his original career path in real estate as part of
Alex Abad Real Estate Group and Compass Real
Estate team serving the South Bay area.
While the jobs of a firefighter and realtor are
drastically different, Ron loves being a realtor for
the same reason he followed his passion as a fire
fighter. He believes in helping people through
difficult situations. Ron still puts out fires and
mitigates stress, now by prioritizing client needs,
creating a seamless experience, and ensuring that
his clients have a clear understanding of the facts
and are well equipped to make an informed
decision when buying & selling homes.
An LA native, Ron has spent the last 15 years in
the South Bay. Whether fishing the Pacific Ocean,
cooking for friends at his El Segundo home, or
enjoying a fine restaurant in Manhattan Beach's
waterfront district, Ron embodies this community's
spirit which embraces a welcoming beach lifestyle.
