The Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort debuted in the beachfront town of Kapa'a this past October
following a million-dollar transformation spearheaded by design firm Gensler. Formerly a Courtyard by
Marriott, the newly refurbished property brings to the east side of Kauai 314 redesigned guest rooms with
rich cinnamon woodwork and private lanais. Other updates include a new arrival experience, oceanfront
bar and restaurants (including the Crooked Surf Tiki bar, Moamoa Hawaiian Fish House and Daybreak
breakfast-buffet restaurant); reinvented public spaces; a revamped pool area (with a new zero-edge pool);
and updated programming. Think twice-weekly luaus celebrating Hawaiian and Polynesian culture,
daytrips to Waimea Canyon State Park and the Nā Pali coastline, and more. The newly transformed resort
also offers almost 8,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor meeting space, including four oceanfront rooms.
