Local Collaborative Hermosa officially opened its
doors in 2021, transforming a historic
Performing Arts Theater into a vibrant co-
working space that blends old-world charm
with modern functionality. The journey began
with Marlin Equity Partners leasing the entire
space, marking a major milestone for the
business. Following this, Local Coll
aborative was
unveiled to the public in June 2023 at a grand
opening celebration. With all office spaces
leased, this thriving community hub is now
setting its sights on the future with exciting
expansion plans already in motion. Our mission
is simple: to complete the build-out by Q2 2025,
maximizing returns for our investors while
creating a unique and inspiring workspace for
the South Bay community.
Moving Forward: Expansion
Plans Set to Amaze
The groundwork for the next phase of Local
Collaborative's expansion is already in place.
During the initial construction, 70% of the
infrastructure required for the second phase
was completed, including essential structural
support. This foresight positions us perfectly
to move forward efficiently, with our planning
department working in tandem with the City
Council.
By submitting plans for review while
seeking City Council approval concurrently,
we are compressing timelines and saving
valuable time in our schedule. This
streamlined process ensures that Local
Collaborative Hermosa is ready to meet the
growing demand for co-working spaces in
this sought-after beachside community.
