Woodrow Wilson Residence
This
single
family
residence
was
designed for a family of three and
was inspired by their love for music
and their desire to integrate this
passion into the plan for the house.
The densely wooded site affords a
number of opportunities for views of
the canyon and adjacent hilltops. The
orientation of the structure maximizes
exposure to natural light and conforms
to the existing topography. The house
includes a pool and subterranean toilet
shower and changing room, a separate
music studio and gym featuring an
oversized airplane hangar door which
opens to the view south across the
canyon. At the rear of the house there
is a small library and guest suite on the
main floor. The home is clad in glass
and natural wood siding and features a
rooftop garden at the mid-level.
