Aegean 640 - House of the Future LOGICAL HOMES
The Aegean 640 was fabricated in Los Angeles over the course of 25 days and premiered
at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. It's a modest 640 square feet, making
the one-bedroom prefab ideal for weekend getaways and minimalist home buyers. The
Aegean's primary living space is made from two 40-foot-long cargo containers. Outside,
a 400-square-foot patio area lies beneath a cantilevered roof, allowing the small home to
make a big architectural statement.
Green on Main LOGICAL HOMES
Fourteen cargo containers later, "Green on Main" became
the country's first mixed-use cargo container-based
project. The 4,400-square-foot Venice Beach modular
is comprised of residential units with open floor plans,
a street-level art gallery, and a roof deck with mountain,
city, and ocean views. The color in the name speaks to
more than just the bright green exterior, as Logical Homes
incorporated green design and technology throughout.
Inside, artist residents enjoy open floor plans, bamboo
floors, and No-VOC painted walls.
