Thrilling spooks, whimsical costumes and a world of good! As if under a magic spell,
the downtown area of Manhattan Beach will transform into a Trick or Treat Halloween
festival on Sunday, October 25th, filled with charity walks, pumpkin races and treats
sure to please little princesses and ghouls alike.
Beginning at 8am on Sunday, October 25th, walkers gather at the Manhattan Beach
pier to "Go the Extra Mile for Our Children" in support of the Skechers' Pier to
Pier Friendship Walk. Donations from this annual walk serve communities of special
needs children by empowering them, improving education and inspiring our beach
cities communities to create positive change.
Following on the heels of the Friendship Walk is the world famous Pumpkin
Race, hosted in Manhattan Beach. A spirited and spry competition like no other,
handcrafted Pumpkin Race Cars can be seen battling head to head for the coveted
"Pumpkin Race Championship Trophy". The most innovative and creatively designed
pumpkin race cars delight onlookers while the adrenaline of the race adds to the
family fun fervor.
Throughout both of these events, Shorewood Realtors will be hosting a booth with
family games at our 917 Manhattan Avenue office. Come dressed to impress, or at the
very least bewitch, and stay for the games, treats and kid friendly "spirits"!
