THE BIRD OF PARADISE HOUSE The Bird of Paradise House was built in 1963 and designed by Lloyd Wright. The furniture was reportedly also designed by Wright to complement the home's exterior, and was recently auctioned off. This home is also known as the "Bowler House" and is among Wright's final projects. The Moore House, also designed by Lloyd Wright, was completed in 1959. It was a sleek, ultramodern design, and a familiar sight driving along Paseo Del Mar. The home was first threatened with demolition in 2010. It was ultimately demolished in April, 2012 so the owners could construct a new home. THE DAILEY HOUSE 126  SOUTHBAYDIGS.COM | 12.14.2012 THE BIRD OF PARADISE HOUSE
