soaring view to the sea for a discreet reprieve.
The master bath, meanwhile, is "marquee
design," as Altamura puts it. "It's one of the
nicest I've ever seen." Explicitly minimalist
but superior in quality, this sumptuous escape
is swathed floor to ceiling in Roman Travertine
from Modul Marble, including Beaumanière
limestone floors, and Roman Travertine counter-
tops with integrated sinks and polished chrome
hardware. While conspicuously classy, the
space, in the style of a resort spa, is restrained,
featuring a modern soaking tub, private water
closet, and a linen closet, but an absolutely
spectacular bespoke glass-cage shower from
Met-Tee in North Hollywood. Reflecting the
purity of fine design, it is trimmed in shining
silver, punctuating a truly radiant space. "It's
just so perfect," says Altamura.
